The debate of controlling the Internet between the United States and the world has been heating up in the past few months. The UN stated that they are ready to take control of the Internet. Many have accused the United States for taking absolute control of the Internet, but a non-profit corporation I.C.A.N.N. maintains the Internet. As a webmaster of many websites, I am against a plan for transferring the control of the Internet to the United Nations. There are many international members on the I.C.A.N.N., which denounces claims that I.C.A.N.N. is under the sole influence of the United States. Besides, the United Nations had its problem with the Oil for Food Program. Why should we trust the U.N. with the Internet, when I.C.A.N.N. has done well with its job?
