As I watched ABC's World News Tonight, I was stunned to see Charles Gibson anchoring for Bob Woodruff. Bob Woodruff and Doug Vogt were injured from an attack in Iraq while being with the Iraqi Security Forces. Due to the extent of the injury, it seems Bob Woodruff will be in recovery for several months. World News Tonight began with a new format in 2006 by having Bob Woodruff and Elizabeth Vargas co-anchoring the news program. It was said from tonight's World News Tonight that Charles Gibson would be taking turns to cover Bob's role in the show. In my humble judgment Charles Gibson did a wonderful job tonight!
