President Bush emphasized the elimination of tyranny in the world
during his inauguration speech. Many critics are questioning if his
speech was contradictory, too aggressive, or just reemphasizing US
principles. Some questioned if his policy was contradictory. President
Bush allies himself with world's "tyrant" leaders such as the leaders
of Pakistan, Uzbekistan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.
Others stated that his speech opens a policy of a new aggressive war on
terror. The Whitehouse has admitted of formulating plans to invade Iran
without the cooperation with the United Nations.
Some historians
argued, however, that President's inauguration speech did not differed
from previous Presidents. Former President Jimmy Carter and Ronald
Reagan made aggressive inauguration speeches to address US principles
to the world.
