Airbus will show off its A380 aircraft to the public
tomorrow. Many political leaders will attend the opening ceremony of the new
aircraft. The world's full double decker aircraft would rival long distance air
transportation with Boeing's 747. The passenger version will be in service in
2006, while the freight version will be released in 2008.
The passenger version will have 555 seats, and it will be
able to travel up to 15,000km. The freight version will allow up to 152 tons of
goods, and it will be able to travel up to 10,400km.
Airbus has 14 A380 customers. The opening ceremony will occur at Jean-Luc
Lagardere Final Assembly Line hall at Toulouse,
France.
