Union leaders from the Writers Guide of America has announced to its members that a tentative deal has been made with the industry and has asked members to call off the strike to prevent potential risks. The Writers Guide of America has been on a three month strike, crippling the entertainment industries. Analysts estimate over a billion dollars of lost potential earnings for the industry. From the potential new deal, the Writers Guide has gained ground in royalties for video content on the Internet.
