Chairmen Lee Hamilton and Thomas Kean said that the CIA impeded the commission’s investigation after reading the report. The CIA defended its action by stating that the commission had access to tapes, and the agency did not destroy the tapes during the commission’s investigation. The CIA destroyed the tapes, because the agency believed that the tapes held no intelligence or inquiry value.

The website design was done by scratch (by me), and readability of the content, as well as the aesthetics, was the focus of the design.

Hopefully, the lightweight nature of the website can make the browsing experience more pleasant.
