British Airways admits breaking price-fixing laws

British Airways has admitted in breaking price-fixing laws as investigations from United Kingdom, the European Union, and the United States continue. The company has set aside $692 million to pay for potential fines. British Airways has been suffering low profits after tighten security in airports and labor disputes. Stocks for the airline fell as the result of the news.

X-box 360 expected high sell

Many stores across the United States are planning to open at midnight to celebrate the launch of the new X-box 360 gaming system. Due to the holiday season converging to the launch event, there are predictions that the initial launch of the new machine will have a high sell and shortages will occur due to high demand. X-box 360 is a new version of X-box with new features, such as High Definition Support and Media Center Capability.

A380 advantages attract buyers

ImageWith a full double-decker design, the A380 brought many customers from air travel airlines to airfreight services. Fourteen airlines bought A380s and Singapore Airlines will be the first to put the new aircraft in service in 2006. The A380 is the larger than Boeing's 747. Many Airlines are looking forward to new possibilities with the aircraft.

Adobe acquires Macromedia

Adobe announced that it would be acquiring Macromedia for $3.4 billion. Adobe, famous for creating portable document format, and Macromedia, makers of flash, hoped that the two mergers would provide customers with more powerful tools to deliver multimedia content over many operating systems.

Airbus's A380 display tomorrow

Airbus will show off its A380 aircraft to the public tomorrow. Many political leaders will attend the opening ceremony of the new aircraft. The world's full double decker aircraft would rival long distance air transportation with Boeing's 747. The passenger version will be in service in 2006, while the freight version will be released in 2008.
