The House of Representatives has passed a non-binding resolution that criticizes the President's plan for sending additional troops to Iraq. Only 17 Republicans broke ranks and voted with the Democrats, while 2 Democrats voted against the Resolution with the Republicans. Republicans have vehemently accused the Democrats for undermining the morals of the troops. But the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi argued back by stating that Congress owes the troops a course of action in Iraq that is worthy of their sacrifice.
